There’s a lot of music going on tonight so pick your spot and have fun!

Sandbar in Vail has Back Yard Tire Fire. a Bloomington, Illinois band that has worked the national circuit tirelessly, sharing stages with fellow-travelers Cracker, the Reverend Horton Heat, Govt. Mule, Alejandro Escovedo, James McMurtry and Los Lobos. Illinois State grad and Edwards resident Colleen Carey says this band is a can’t miss. The show is part of a KZYR listener appreciation party.

Three20South has Signal Path who are back from hiatus. With almost two years since their last major tour, fans find the band producing a sound that has become more mature, authoritative, and immense. While still blending both live instrumentation and computer generated production, Signal Path is creating some of the most progressive music in their history. Originally a duo, Signal Path comes full circle with Ryan Burnett producing and playing guitar and Damon Metzner on the acoustic drums. This configuration allows the sound to become focused, spontaneous, and rich.

Ghost Ranch Saloon in Steamboat has Hip-Hop band Swollen Members who just played a show in Avon that received excellent reviews from a packed house. They are touring in support of a new album and a celebration of life after a serious battle with drug addiction from their lead singer.

Don’t forget about Frogs Gone Fishin’s last show at Finnegan’s in Avon. FGF will be playing for free tonight before they set off on a national tour in support of their new studio release. Frogs Gone Fishin’ always engages the crowd and makes them dance and have fun with their funky brand of rock and roll. You never know what you might get as they always add a great mix of covers along with their funky originals. There are sure to be lots of special guests tonight.

For your DJ set, Samana Lounge in Vail Village will have Hal and Miah and as always, drinks are 2 for 1 before 10pm.
